Job Summary:
The Revenue / Production Accountant will prepare California onshore revenue for input into our system, oversee other duties relative to the company properties and prepare monthly regulatory reports to ensure compliance with all state, federal and other regulatory agency guidelines.
Responsibilities/ Duties:
Prepare California revenue reporting, covering multiple fields for distribution to the appropriate parties using FDG and P2 volumes, including marketing prices for input to the OG OnDemand system;
Ensure applicable ad valorem and conservation taxes are properly applied to wells; prepare annual reconciliations;
Maintain production accounting systems (p2 and FDG);
Organize and maintain well data management system; prepare data analyses as required;
Update and maintain well master, facilities and well status documentation/reporting;
Prepare monthly well allocations;
Prepare and submit federal/state and local regulatory production reporting;
Prepare and submit revenue entries;
Prepare and submit production reporting and analysis;
Maintain revenue decks;
Submit royalty payments;
Prepare and submit suspense/escheat reporting;
Interact with accounting, IT, engineering and field operators, regarding production reporting issues;
Prepare production data compilation for the company on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, in addition to submitting related state, federal and local regulatory reporting;
Complete special projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline;
4 – 6years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
Experience with and OG OnDemand (OGSys), a plus;
Astute oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
Exceptional organizational, proof-reading, time management, multi-tasking, attention to detail and follow-through skills;
Ability to work effectively alone and within a team environment;
Other duties as assigned.
WorkingHours:
7:00AM –4:00PM, or 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Compensation:
$115,000 annual base salary for this full-time, exempt position
