Litigation Manager/Paralegal – California Personal Injury Experience Required

My client is a dynamic legal team committed to securing justice for our clients. We operate in a fast-paced, technologically advanced, and team-centric environment. We are looking for a Litigation Manager experienced in handling Personal Injury cases based in California. This position may be based in our office (located in North Las Vegas) or be fully remote.

Job Description:

  • Communicate frequently with Attorney(s) to formulate a strategic plan for the current case load.
  • Thoroughly utilize client management software for detailed interactions with clients, attorneys, medical providers, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, etc.
  • Follow established procedures for work product, documentation, and notes.
  • Prepare for weekly case reviews with Attorney/Director of Litigation.
  • Create legal documents as per the instruction of Attorney/Director of Litigation.
  • Ensure tasks assigned by Case Management Software/Attorney/Director of Litigation are completed within designated due dates.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with Attorneys, Clients, and Coworkers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on cases from the inception of litigation through arbitration/trial.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel through various channels.
  • Perform legal research and draft legal documents (complaints, discovery, disclosures, briefs, motions, etc.).
  • Manage calendar consisting of meetings, appointments, due dates, and hearings.
  • Summarize/review medical records.
  • Manage a large caseload efficiently.
  • Review and analyze cases before filing lawsuits, determining defendants, jurisdiction, and allegations.
  • Data entry into case management software.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in California personal injury cases is required; Nevada experience in personal injury is a plus.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in personal injury.
  • 1–2 years’ experience at a plaintiff law firm.
  • Knowledge of federal and state court procedures.
  • Experience managing 75-100 cases concurrently.
  • Persuasive writing skills, analytical reasoning, and task prioritization.
  • Calendaring skills and ability to multitask.
  • Self-disciplined, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
  • Experience working with MS Office and Google Workspace.
  • Typing speed of 45+ WPM.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (1-hour lunch)

Compensation: $65,000 – $95,000 plus performance bonus of up to 10% of their annual salary, and a signing bonus of $1,000 after 6 months of employment.
