Our client is seeking a Human Resources PMO Director and play a pivotal role in driving our HR projects forward. In this contract role, you will oversee a team of project managers, working closely with HR leadership to ensure projects are aligned with the strategic goals. With a focus on excellence and efficiency, you will establish and maintain project management standards and processes, foster a high-performance culture, and effectively manage stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR leadership to understand strategic objectives and ensure alignment of projects with overall priorities
- Develop project governance frameworks and establish project management standards to ensure compliance and consistency
- Lead a team of project managers and foster a high-performance culture
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicate project status and progress
- Allocate resources effectively, monitor project risks and issues, and provide performance reporting to senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, PMP certification preferred
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience in HR within banking/financial services industry Proven leadership experience and strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Experience with project management tools and software preferred
