Job Summary:

The HR Assistant works closely in partnership with new hires and current employees helping coordinate on-boarding tasks, transportation efforts, and hosting employee recreation events and trips.

The Details:
Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Season Dates: ASAP

Housing & Meals: Complimentary
Pay: $14.45/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule, and host employee recreation program events and trips.
  • Publish monthly employee newsletter.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee transportation.
  • Create new and replacement name badges & IDs for employees.
  • Assist with new employee paperwork – ensure all I-9’s are completed.
  • Create new and replacement name badges & IDs for employees.
  • Organize & facilitate new employee orientation programs and other training events as needed.
  • Develop, update, & publish the monthly training calendar.
  • Collaborate & work closely with the Human Resources Manager.
  • Maintain excellent attendance & punctuality.
  • Assist in other departments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative & clerical work.
  • General knowledge of computer office systems.
  • Strong organizational & multi-tasking abilities.
  • Responsible for holding high professionalism in & outside the workplace.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Human Resources Manager and all other employees.
  • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating employee transportation.
  • Must have a US valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass a motor vehicle records background check.
