Job Description

The School of Professional Studies program is seeking industry veterans with experience guiding experienced professionals to understand the dynamic relationship between technology and business, fostering a learning culture, and developing strategic digital leadership skills.

Some of the topics that will be covered in the course, are Strategy Development and Implementation, Leadership Principles for Success, Technology Initiatives and Business Integration, Impact of Emerging Technologies, Responsive Organizational Dynamism, Behavioral Challenges in IT Management, and Case Studies and Real-World Applications.

By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to lead and navigate the ever-changing digital landscape, articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences, conduct thorough

analyses of their organization’s strategic landscape, tackle behavioral challenges inherent in IT management, exhibiting adept leadership skills to inspire innovation and facilitate productive teamwork, particularly within the fluid environment of technological change.

Responsibilities

● Lead class lectures, instructional activities, and classroom discussion.

● Evaluate, grade student work and assessments.

● Monitor and address student concerns and inquiries.

● Conduct weekly office hours.

Qualifications

Columbia University SPS operates under a scholar-practitioner faculty model, which enables students to learn from faculty that have outstanding academic training as well as a record of accomplishment as practitioners in an applied industry setting.

Additional Information

Salary: $12,360 per semester-length course teaching
