Previous teaching experience is highly desired; however, no teacher certification or licensure is necessary.Pay ranges from $21 – $30 per hour depending on multiple factors, including specific location, individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. ResponsibilitiesOur teachers work in small groups with students at a 3 student to one teacher ratio. C2 Education offers teachers strong administrative and leadership support so they can focus solely on what matters: helping students. Our Education Coordinators and Center Directors for each center take care of the scheduling. Center Directors and District Managers handle communication with parents.
- Tutor students in small groups (3 students max).
- Tailor C2 Education’s proprietary curriculum on SAT, ACT, AP, and school subjects to students’ needs.
- Track and analyze student progress.
- Attending required training and staff meetings.
Schedule
- Sessions are conducted after school hours to accommodate students and are typically Monday – Thursday 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Each location may vary.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.).
- Ability to tutor in-person.
- Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.
- Authorized to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications
- AP-level knowledge in at least one or more subjects.
