Duties: Fortune 100 looking for a front-end expert who is well versed in React, ES6, Javascript, HTML, and (S)CSS. This role is for a true senior front-end developer whose expertise will be valued while working on flagship products. Design background a plus.

Skills: Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the following:

Design: Color theory, light and shadows, typography, composition, layout

HTML: semantics, advanced forms, accessibility, typography, tricks

CSS: layout, flexbox, animations, accessibility, white Labeling, typography

SCSS: CSS scoping, pros and cons of BEM, OOCSS. Experience with Grunt, Gulp and/or Webpack mangling SCSS compilation and transpilation. Variables and inheritance strategies.

ES6: mutating versus non-mutating array methods. Sorting, filtering, arrow functions. Classical and functional programming. Advanced destructuring.

Javascript: query selectors, native DOM traversal, history, local storage

React: markdown, style guide, prop types. portals, children. Internal versus external state. Component composition, HOC, router, error boundaries, hooks.
