Who you are:
As a Business Analyst in Marketing & Communications for Johns Hopkins Health Plans, you tell the story of our membership recruitment and sales efforts with data.
The reports you create and run will support the marketing and communications campaigns within Johns Hopkins Health Plans.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze and collect data for various types of business reports including sales, marketing, website traffic, email, member enrollment, and finance data.
- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers. Create and present executive presentations and board reports.
- Lead the development of potential system modifications, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis, and suggest enhancements or business process changes to normalize marketing operations.
- Develop functional specifications and operational flows and procedures for approved reporting enhancements.
- Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy.
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a marketing and communications environment
- Experience using reporting tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, CRM software and be able to convert and report data in meaningful and actionable terms
- Professional level of knowledge of marketing channels and support systems.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of direct response advertising and customer acquisition.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as experience reading, interpreting and applying law/policy/regulations.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication (written & oral) skills to interact with all levels of employees, providers, vendors, and other customers
- Experience in Medicare or Managed Care strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of health care marketing processes, systems, and terminology is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Healthcare Management or related field preferred.
