Job Description
Position SummaryA Carpenter Foreman oversee, run, and direct the general and daily responsibilities for their team. Other responsibilities include coordinating work according to priorities and plans ensuring carpentry jobs are completed on schedule.Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Able to perform rough and finish carpentry.
- Experience in setting case and millwork.
- Experience in architectural doors and hardware (commercial).
- Must have handbags and all necessary hand tools.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and performing layout work.
- Experience leading a team of carpenters and general trade’s positions.
- Work closely and cooperatively with Project Manager, Project Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager and/or Project Engineer to ensure project goals are met.
- Be able to lead a crew of 4-5 staff members
- Develop 3 Week Work Plan
- Maintain Positive Can Do attitude and address employee questions / comments.
- Encourage open communication and maintain confidentiality.
- Daily Crew Coordination and JHA / PTWP Review
- Enforcement of all CMAC Safety and Company Policies
- Coordinate assignment of crews, tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure work is completed per approved plans, specifications, and manufacturers instructions.
- Attend assigned meetings in person or virtual.
- Understand scope of work.
- Report Weekly Units
- Complete Daily Report (Company IPAD Provided)

The job requires they wear protective equipment when on the construction site (hardhats and safety glasses). Temperatures and conditions may vary depending on the weather and seasons.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and able to talk and hear other employee talking. The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Expected Hours of WorkFull time, more than 40- hours a week. May work nights and weekends, construction may, at times, continue around the clock to meet deadlines.TravelMust have reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel up to a 300-mile radius dependent on project location relative to where the employee lives. (Reimbursements per Company Policy)Required Education and Experience * High school diploma or GED.
- Five (5+) or more years’ of relevant work experience or proven established work history for the position.
Preferred Education and Experience * Proven experience as construction foreman/forewoman.Additional Eligibility Qualifications * Physical stamina to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.

Expected Salary
$36 – 45 per hour
