Job Description

- Perform tasks involving physical labor at the construction site.
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber for slabs on grade, suspended slabs, columns, and vertical slip formed walls.
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
- Read blueprints, take measurements, and calculate size and amounts of material needed.
- Operate hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, pneumatic nail guns, SkilSaws, miter saws, etc.
- Assist other craft workers.
Requirements:
- Verifiable experience as carpenter and working with carpentry materials.
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
- Good understanding of basic math.
- Must be able to meet physical demands of construction work.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- May include other duties as needed.
- Must abide by ALL of the company’s field safety rules.
- Slipform concrete and equipment installation experience preferred.
- Pre-employment, post-offer drug screen and physical required.
