JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Provides comprehensive digital and graphic design in collaboration with communications colleagues to professionally represent Fortune 500 company across multiple forums and formats for both internal and external audiences.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops engaging and dynamic executive presentations, as well as visual products (including digital signage, infographics, video graphics, web banners, posters, invitations, signage, brochures, booklets, etc.) for traditional, digital and multimedia delivery.
  • Works closely with the digital media team to create dynamic visuals for videos and webcasts.
  • For internal communications, collaborates with communications colleagues and internal clients to provide visual solutions to communications objectives, manage workflow, and coordinate aspects of vendor relationships for delivery of traditional, digital and multimedia graphic projects.
  • For external communications, collaborates with social media team and advertising and brand manager on lead agency delivery of traditional, digital and multimedia graphic projects.

Minimum Requirements

Communications Specialist II: 3 – 5 years

Communications Specialist, Sr: 5 – 7 years

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

Knowledge:

  • Design, communications and media.
  • Project management and print production process.
  • Computers and electronics.
  • English language.
  • Branding and marketing.
  • Customer service.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with professional skills in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Premier Pro and After Effects skills a plus.
  • Familiarity with video production process and equipment. Video editing, videography and still photography a plus.
  • PowerPoint professional skills for dynamic executive presentation creation

Abilities:

  • Positive communicator, creative thinker with a genuine passion for design.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to quality and detail.
  • Team focused collaborator, with high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into original, meaningful and impactful visual design.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work within corporate brand identity guidelines.
  • Proactive consultant with a keen eye on visual trends and industry innovation would be highly regarded.
  • Experience interacting with executives in a corporate setting desired
