One Stop Solution.Job Description:We are seeking a talented and motivated Comp Artist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced graphic arts studio. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a comping/prototyping environment and possess a strong foundation in packaging design and fabrication.Key Responsibilities:– Design and build packaging materials, including boxes, bottles, and cans.
– Operate general studio tools such as automated CAD cutters, mounting and laminating equipment.
– Utilize photography and digital printing techniques to enhance presentations and prototypes.
– Exhibit strong arts and crafts skills for precise cutting, application, and fabrication of custom packaging designs.
– Collaborate with a team of experts, learning and adapting to new techniques and tools as needed.Qualifications:– Experience in a comping or prototyping studio environment.
– General knowledge of packaging design principles and materials.
– Familiarity with studio tools and equipment.
– Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and experience with Mimaki CAD cutting equipment/software is a plus.
– Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in all aspects of work.
– Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work effectively under pressure
