Job Description
Reporting into the Accounting Manager with tons of communication to the CFO, the Corporate Accountant will be responsible for the North America consolidation function, rolling reports up to senior leaders. This individual will also have a clear and fast track career path to become the Controller and oversee a team of accountants.
- Assist with month-end close, including the completion of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the management of financial statement preparation and month-end and quarterly close
- This person will play an integral role driving consistency across the organization through partnering with key finance executives, driving process improvements, and researching and evaluating technical accounting guidance for unique business transactions.
- Work collaboratively with group finance contacts to standardize reporting and accounting conclusions.
- Coordinate complex cross-functional accounting projects and initiatives and gain global exposure.
- Act as liaison for cross functional tasks with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations and Audit
- Manage a P&L and support stakeholders with the preparation of the budget
- Address budget to actual variances

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Consolidations experience nice to have
- Strong Excel experience
- Detail-oriented
