Seeking Alpha is looking to hire a seasoned Customer Marketer to plan and help execute our customer engagement, awareness, and education initiatives, which will involve creating marketing plans, coordinating marketing execution, and running tests. We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills, superior communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively within diverse teams. The candidate needs to have experience with financial products and executing marketing campaigns.

Your primary role will be to create and execute a marketing strategy for customers using analytics to maximize retention and increase education and engagement thus boosting our company’s profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and implement a marketing plan and execution for different phases of the customer lifecycle with a key focus on education, awareness, and engagement
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding marketing and company goals and KPIs related to customer engagement and retention
  • Determine target audiences and channel mix
  • Develop and design testing scenarios for campaigns
  • Assess the success of each campaign
  • Define the key performance indicators for marketing initiatives
  • Generate and share weekly and monthly performance reports
  • Help in the development of customer segmentation and profiles
  • Work to retain, upsell, and engage customers
  • Evaluate data to gain valuable insights
  • Propose enhancements based on analysis
  • Segment audiences based on factors such as past email interaction and website engagement
  • Produce guidelines and plans for processes, A/B testing, and marketing channel successes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role
  • A thorough understanding of the customer lifecycle.
  • A strong background in investing and equity markets and products
  • Experience working at or with a very large publisher
  • Detail-oriented along with a precise and clear communication style
  • Experience working closely with Product and Marketing Operations on a technical level
  • A highly collaborative, team-oriented individual
  • High proficiency in all marketing channels and analytics

The applicable salary range for this position is $80,000/yr to $100,00/yr, which depends on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs, and market demand.
