Job Description
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Media & Social Strategy for the retail group, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for day-to-day activities related to the tactical implementation of digital marketing, paid media and social media programs and promotions for multiple consumer-facing shopping center brands and corporate initiatives. This role will execute strategies outlined by the Sr. Manager to ensure effective channel management.

Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Marketing Execution
Partner with B2C and B2B marketing teams to implement social media and digital marketing plans to help drive awareness and engagement metrics across platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
Optimize tactics for effectiveness
Coordinate Google posts, social stories, reels, and Linktree to support program objectives
Coordinate social audits and implement enhancement opportunities via the Content Management System (CMS) tool
Assist with pro-active monitoring and appropriate social messaging during crisis situations.
Paid Program Implementation
Execute paid initiatives, refining ads via A/B testing and audience targeting to achieve desired results. This encompasses a range of tactics, including SEM, influencer partnerships, and social media ads.
Capture key channel metrics and media spends via internal tracking system
Coordinate asset trafficking to media partners, ensuring timely delivery, and take ownership of lead times and communication with internal partners.
CMS & Tools Management
Partner with vendors for social media and user-generated content tools
Serve as the subject matter expert for our social media CMS and related automation tools
Provide support and guidance to internal marketing and field stakeholders to ensure effective utilization of the platforms
Lead the launch of new tools and product updates for the new platform and the Chatbot, encompassing training thorough testing, and implementation oversight
Regularly monitor, analyze performance, and provide insights and documentation in order to improve content management usage
Digital Marketing Program Implementation
Manage URL tracking implementation to identify sources of traffic for our websites
Oversee the implementation of QR codes used for marketing initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams, coordinate with the vendor, and provide analytics reporting
Performance Tracking and Monitoring
Execute, monitor and report on social and paid performance data at a tactical level
Interpret data to provide actionable insights for day-to-day optimization
Share results to drive continuous improvement and inform future strategies
Channel Acquisition
Collaborate with manager to devise strategies aimed at growing followers and subscribers
Manage the execution of acquisition programs across diverse channels, spanning social media, influencers, and email channels in partnership with B2C and B2B teams
Agency and Vendor Management
Assist in managing external agency and vendor partnerships, encompassing influencers, paid media, and our CMS vendor. This entails cultivating relationships, conducting productive status meetings, and ensuring effective follow-up communications.
Assist in handling agreements, RFPs, and proposals
Trend Monitoring & Insights
Proactively monitor and identify digital marketing, social media, and paid media trends, focusing on platform policies and features to optimize tactical execution and performance
Share insights and specific opportunities to improve channel performance; providing in-depth points of view for tactical enhancements
General
Manage channel marketing administrative tasks, including:
Reconcile billing statements, manage vendor setup, process invoices, and expense reports
Coordinate digital approvals and filing for contracts, agreements, and marketing documentation
Monitor and track invoices for budget purposes
Manage and prioritize work effectively to ensure internal deadlines, timetables and approvals are met
Follow processes set forth by the team
Other duties as assigned
Limited nights and weekends required
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
1-3 years of marketing and/or communications experience
1-3 years of digital or social marketing experience, including but not limited to implementing and managing content, paid digital media, social media, influencers in a corporate or agency setting.
Skills
Experience with social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and activating paid campaigns
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in social media content writing and proofreading
Familiarity with a variety of communication tools, technologies and processes with a proven track record of managing Facebook Ad Manager, Sprout, Google Ad Words or other social media content management systems
Expertise with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams), and other technologies designed to support communication strategies
Characteristics
