Director Fundraising and Business Development, DVH
United Health Services is seeking a Director Fundraising and Business Development to join our 20 West St Community Relations department at DVH in Walton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.
Shift: All Shifts
Hours per week: 40
Salary range: $35.26 – $56.53 per hour, depending on experience.
Director Fundraising and Business Development / Overview
Reporting to the UHS DVH President & CEO, the Director of Fundraising and Business Development serves as an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting DVH. The position will help forge new relationships to build the visibility, impact, and financial resources to support DVH’s mission and initiatives. This position will also coordinate with other UHS system entities and departments.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Education/Experience
- Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, fundraising, or public relations.
- 5-plus years of professional experience in a non-profit organization; demonstrated success in a development function (managing and forging relationships with multiple donor sources).
- Preferred:
- Experience with e-Tapestry or Raisers Edge a plus.
License/Certification
- Minimum Required:
- Not Applicable
- Preferred:
- Current CFRE, ACFRE, or FAHP certification.
Work Environment
- All work performed in offices that require working in close quarters with other employees. The offices are air conditioned/heated
