OverviewThe HR Business Partner aligned with the Waters Global Operations organization is responsible for working with the organization to identify opportunities to increase organizational effectiveness and productivity. Reporting to a Vice President, HR, this role will be responsible for developing and executing human capital strategies and activities that enable growth and innovation. Additionally, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for implementing corporate-led initiatives with the team and communicating how these programs fit within the overall business and HR strategy. This HRBP must be able to communicate at the executive level, collaborate across boundaries and geographies and work with colleagues across the business and the broad HR team. This role will regularly need to align and collaborate with global organizations, regional HR teams and other internal HR COE’s including total rewards, talent acquisition, talent management, and the global HR advisor network. The business partner will be the trusted advisor for the SVP of Global Operations and the Global Operations leadership team.Responsibilities
- Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts, working with leaders to identify and address root causes of human resources issues.
- Viewed as a business partner, change agent, and member of the line leadership staff.
- Consults with business leaders on talent, leadership, business strategy/transformation, organizational development, strategic workforce planning, workforce optimization and change management.
- Scans and benchmarks the marketplace for talent trends and opportunities. Utilize data and metrics to create business value and support decision-making.
- Leads and implements business specific projects and initiatives to deliver on specific business requirements and outcomes.
- Works through the HR community to implement programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree and 15+ years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to proactively translate changing business objectives to effective HR strategies; specific experience needed in Organization Design, Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion and Change Management
- Strong customer relationship management skills and demonstrated experience in developing consultative relationships with executive leaders
- Experience partnering with manufacturing organizations
- Experience operating in a global environment
Key Competencies and Experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor and respond to HR and company metrics. Highly skilled in utilizing HR and financial analytics to drive business decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive broad complex projects to successful completion
- Ability to communicate globally to all levels of the organization
- Some domestic and international travel will be required
