As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for bringing projects to life by transforming raw materials into beautifully crafted structures. Your attention to detail and mastery of carpentry techniques will ensure precise measurements and calculations, allowing you to determine the right size and number of materials needed. From cutting and shaping lumber to assembling window frames, doors, and staircases, your carpentry skills will be put to the test!
Position Responsibilities:
– Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed- Cut and shape lumber and other materials- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction- Proficient in using hand and power tools- Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings and residences using raw materials and/or prefabricated items- Install baseboard, crown and chair rail moldings, cabinets, shelving, and other carpentry-related tasks- Strong attention to detail and precision- Excellent manual dexterity and woodworking skills- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in the construction industry
