Job Description
Position Summary
Talent Management – Lead the design, implementation, monitoring and coordination of programs, processes, tools, and methods that support talent management, succession planning, career management, retention, talent acquisition, and selection within the Group. Act as liaison between CLOE and divisions on rollout of corporate initiatives and programs, providing education & support to elevate HR & business leader capabilities with respect to knowing, assessing and developing talent.
Strategic Partner – Understanding and involvement in business issues, participant in business task forces, provide program management of workforce planning, skills assessment, succession planning, champion of Company culture and management practices. Global thought process. Plan and execute organization design initiatives to support strategic business goals.
Process Excellence – Gather information, analyze data, observe the process and lead the effort to constantly improve and/or automate HR processes such as but not limited to talent & succession management, recruitment/staffing processes, and compensation/pay activities.
Change Agent – Act as liaison for leading change, create understanding among associates about the need to change and how change will help them and the business in the short- and long-term, assist in the modification of systems and structures to support needed change, monitor progress by developing measures for change and develop short- and long-term plans to keep attention focuses on change.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates the Group’s Talent Management & Succession Planning initiative by designing and implementing short and long-term processes,
tools and developmental programs that promote career advancement for high potential leaders. * Provides leadership by promoting team concepts through coaching, counseling, mentoring and developing, as well as individual development.
- Promotes and encourages the development of people to ensure leadership continuity. In collaboration with the Learning & Development Manager, reviews talent pool/succession management and staffing plans to ensure that they are consistent and competitive for attainment of area and division objectives. Plans and facilitates programs or events to create visibility of talent.
- Conducts high level needs analysis with business partners to identify and resolve gaps in individual, departmental and organization capabilities and performance relative to organizational goals.
- Coordinates the justification of and process for international assignments within the Group and serves as liaison between Expatriates, Corporate Global Assignment Manager and Group Management.
- In collaboration with the Compensation Manager, responsible for the analysis and management of compensation systems to ensure alignment
with business needs. * Leads and supports the implementation of organizational design and development activities.
- Leads the research of and facilitates consistency, collaboration and communication of best practices within the areas noted above across the Group.
- Leads the analytical and statistical analyses of performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and to sustain the momentum of
talent management initiatives. * Leads the Group’s college recruiting efforts for Leadership Development Rotation Program and serves as coach and mentor to trainees.
- Provides HR Generalist support for the Group Staff and TCS organization. Coaches and influences leaders to make wise decisions that are compatible with sound human resources and business practices, offering clear & objective alternatives and working with the team to help implement solutions.
- Accountable for the compliance of corporate, group, and division human resources programs to meet company policy and governmental
regulations. * Provides counsel and assistance on personnel matters to the company for continued and profitable operations. Teams with area HR managers, division HR managers, and corporate staff personnel in task force projects to ensure competitive practices and policies are maintained.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar discipline, and ten (10) or more years of progressive experience within Human Resources, including prior leadership with considerable size, scope, and complexity for seven (7) or more years. An M.B.A. and/or professional designation are preferred.
- Must have ability to handle diverse responsibilities and be able to adapt to a variety of human resources issues. Able to perform each essential
function with a high level of expertise. * Demonstrated ability to solve tough, complex and ambiguous problems, exercising impact and influence.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others. Moderate travel required.
- Proven ability to manage in a global economy. Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple cross-functional projects and priorities using effective problem solving/resolution skills and a team focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to top management, customers, and
employees. * High level of energy, sense of urgency and passion for building personal and organization leadership capabilities.
- Business literacy ability in financials, operations, organization development, and strategy alignment.
- Minimum requirement of intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
