JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Title: Lead 1-3, SAP PP Process
Reports To: Director, Process Development

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the supply chain process at the manufacturing sites through strong systems utilization of the ERP system (SAP) through strategic continuous improvement projects. This individual will be tasked with driving process standardization and improvements in the areas of production and demand planning processes. Additionally, this role includes supporting other SAP modules leads with technical knowledge and know how as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and champion SAP APO production & demand planning modules, including material replenishment related projects to support business initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain managers, plants, process owners and SAP users to identify new opportunities and execute projects within supply chain.
- Manage SAP leads with training, investigating SAP functionality, and process improvement opportunities and recommending solutions.
- Proactively seek and implement appropriate solutions and options to stay current with technology and industry changes.
Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of ERP flow and understanding relating to business processes.
- Knowledge of lean material replenishment strategies and internal logistics.
- Knowledge of SAP – production planning module required.
- Working knowledge of additional SAP modules preferred.
- Working knowledge of BI or other reporting systems preferred.
- Working knowledge about Order-to-Delivery related processes within supply chain (including logistics, manufacturing, finance, etc.).
- Automotive or trucking industry knowledge preferred.
- Strong knowledge of lean material replenishment strategies, forecasting, and inventory optimization.
- Proven knowledge of production order interfaces.
- Knowledge of agile practice and methods a plus.
Experience:
Lead 1, SAP PP Process
- 3+ years of functional operations experience with focus on production planning or materials management
- 1+ years of SAP R/3, S4 Hana, APO, PPDS and Optimizer experience.
- 3+ years of continuous improvement / project management experience.
Lead 2, SAP PP Process
- 5+ years of functional operations experience with focus on production planning or materials management
- 3+ years of SAP R/3, S4 Hana, APO, PPDS and Optimizer experience.
- 5+ years of continuous improvement / project management experience.
Lead 3, SAP PP Process
- 7+ years of functional operations experience with focus on production planning or materials management
- 5+ years of SAP R/3, S4 Hana, APO, PPDS and Optimizer experience.
- 7+ years of continuous improvement / project management experience.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

- Strong project management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP PPDS and APO, including demand planning, inventory, and replenishment strategies.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred.
- Green Belt certification is preferred.
- SAP Certification is a plus.
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel to the manufacturing locations occasionally.
