The Department of Sociology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences seeks to hire a part-time Lecturer to teach Sociology 5183: Quantitative Analysis, a graduate level statistics course. The course is scheduled to be offered remotely via Zoom. This position will be supervised by the Sociology department chair.
Position Emphasis:
Lecturers will be hired to teach specific classes based on qualifications. This position is remote and located in the CLAS Sociology Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Sociology or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one year of online, college teaching experience.
Required: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Salary and Benefits:
The hiring rate for this position has been established at $1,452 per credit hour (lower division), $1,597 per credit hour (upper division), or $1,755 per credit hour (graduate level).
The above salary rate represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate at time of posting. This part-time appointment is not eligible for group health, life insurance, retirement benefits or overtime compensation.
