Nuse Practitioner – Float
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nuse Practitioner – Float to fill an opening with a Managed Care organization in Seattle, WA.
Daily Responsibilities for Nuse Practitioner – Float:
- Travel to Everett, SeaTac, Kent, Pierce, and Thurston counties to perform comprehensive patient assessments, addressing both medical and behavioral conditions.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses proficiently, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation, including ICD 10 conditions.
- Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, conducting advanced illness and care planning conversations, while providing counseling and education to patients and caregivers.
- M-F 8am-5pm
Required Qualifications for Nuse Practitioner – Float:
- Active and unrestricted license in the state which you reside, or ability to obtain by start date
- Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program
- Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center, with certification in one of the following:
- Family Nurse Practitioner
- Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications for Nuse Practitioner – Float:
- 1+ year of clinical experience in practice (long-term care setting preferred)
- Experience in meeting the medical needs of patients with complex behavioral, social and/or functional needs
- Understanding of Geriatrics and Chronic Illness
- Understanding of Advanced Illness and end of life discussions
- Proficient computer skills including the ability to document medical information with written and electronic medical records

Pay Details: $70/hour – $90/hour
