Job Description
The Pastry Chef de Partie is responsible for baking all breads for the operation in line with restaurant and banquet needs as well as in room dining and guest amenities. The Pastry Chef de Partie will prep for all breads, venoisserie and pastry items, including those served in the street side cafe. Maintains proper working order and cleanliness of all mixers and ovens and communicates any breakdowns or abnormalities to the appropriate team members. They are responsible for regularly cleaning and organizing all bread small wares including bread baskets, couches and pans. The baker also assists the pastry chef in research and development of new menu items.
Qualifications
- Previous baking experience required
- Experience in a luxury environment preferred
- Albe to commit to early morning shifts
