We are seeking a full-time, PIP Senior Paralegal for our Fort Lauderdale office (Southeast Florida) with 2+ years’ actual PIP (Personal Injury Protection) paralegal experience . This is NOT a remote position.Responsibilities:
- Preparation of motions, pleadings, documents, and correspondence, as well as the supporting material.
- Responding to Discovery Requests.
- Managing attorney calendars.
- Assisting attorneys with a variety of legal tasks.
- Assisting with training and mentoring less experienced team members.
- Implement and improve upon administrative processes for more efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of actual civil paralegal experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Organized with time management and multitasking.
- History of being a self-starter and showing attention to detail.
- Demonstrates upstanding character, work ethics and integrity.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong references and work history.
- Bilingual English and Spanish plus but not required.
- Paralegal degree or certification a plus.
- Team-oriented.
