We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating advanced welding equipment, performing high-quality welds, and ensuring all work meets specification standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a strong work ethic to achieve top-quality results.Responsibilities:
- Perform set-up and operation of advanced welding equipment for various welding tasks.
- Conduct weld tests, including Open Root 3G MIG/Flux Core and 6G TIG Root/Flux Fill on 2-inch Schedule 160 pipe.
- Identify and repair defective products efficiently while maintaining acceptable repair appearance.
- Troubleshoot welding issues, reducing scrap, rework, and equipment downtime.
- Ensure all welding work meets required specifications and high-quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Skills Required:
- At least 2 years of pipe welding experience.
- Proficiency in MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve welding defects.
- Ability to perform weld tests (3G and 6G) to required standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
