Position Summary:The ‘SAP Manufacturing/MM/P Lead Analyst’ is responsible to design and deliver solutions to fulfill requirements of Regal Rexnord’s manufacturing processes implemented on SAP ECC (ERP Central Component). The individual should possess in-depth knowledge of discrete manufacturing process and comprehensive functional competencies in Material Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules of SAP. The person is responsible to deliver on-time and first-time-right for complex projects and kaizen events, to resolve production incidents within SLAs, to conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence or problems, to monitor and improve system performance and reliability on continuous basis and to coach team members as necessary. Gathers and analyzes requirements, designs, develops and tests SAP RICEFW for existing MM and PP modules of SAP ECC. Maintains technical documentation. Assists in defining, reviewing and maintaining standards. Liaises and coordinates with other stakeholders including offshore team members. Participates in formulating and defining scope of SAP ECC implementation projects and own delivery of several components.Major Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements; design, develop, test and implement technical solutions to fulfill requirements of supply chain, manufacturing, and planning areas; and provide post implementation maintenance and support
- Document system specifications (SSDs – high level), detailed design (DDDs), Unit Test Plan, Deployment Notes, etc.
- System Configuration: Configure SAP MM / PP modules to meet business requirements, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes
- Process Optimization: Analyze business processes and provide recommendations for improvements and efficiencies using SAP MM / PP functionalities
- Support System Functional testing, End-To-End Integration testing, Regression testing, and User Acceptance testing within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for SAP applications, primarily in the area of SAP PP module with integration to other SAP modules (SAP MM, QM, PM, and FICO).
- Respond, analyze and resolve production incidents within SLAs, perform routine maintenance tasks, and monitor / enhance performance of scheduled programs to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate among cross-functional, onsite and offshore members of SAP specialists to design, build, unit test and support ABAP, Fiori, and Integration solutions that are on-time, first-time-right and within budget.
- Ensure compliance to Release management, Change management and configuration management processes.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow (SAP RICEFW) to enhance existing SAP ECC solutions and integrate it with other applications.
- Automate and maintain Integration of SAP ECC modules with other internal and external systems.
- Participate in following activities:
- Analyze and plan SAP ECC upgrades
- Create and resolve service requests in collaboration with SAP Support portal
- Provide production support as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Continuously improve system performance and reliability by identifying opportunities for root cause analysis and automation
- Facilitate in establishing standards and Best Practices for design, development and Unit Test SAP Solutions and lead team to leverage these standards and best practices to deliver high quality and cost effective solutions.
- Use systematic techniques and process modeling tools for effective system specifications and design – like Use-case scenarios, Activity Diagrams, Data-flow Diagramming etc.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Educations:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience building and supporting solutions based on SAP ECC MM and PP modules in global environment – with at least 2or 3 full lifecycle implementations or 3+ years of monitoring, maintaining, enhancing, integrating and upgrading.
- SAP Production Planning and Manufacturing Certification, awareness or Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma or APICS (CPIM, CIRM) certification preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Highly skilled in SAP ECC Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules.
- Knowledge in other SAP modules like Quality Management (QM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Financial Accounting (FI), and Controlling (CO) will be a strong advantage.
- Expertise in SAP tools such as SAP Data Services, SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BW/4HANA, and system interfaces (XI, ALE, & IDOC)
- Experience debugging SAP UI5 or HTML5, XML, JavaScript, SQL queries, Data Modeling tools, and Version Control tools
- Knowledge of integration points between SAP ME and SAP S/4 utilizing SAPMEINT.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation concepts, including SCADA systems, HMI/HMI interfaces, and data acquisition technologies.
