Join our outstanding Human Resource team as our new Senior Human Resources Generalist/Payroll Specialist today!A few details about the role:
- Consult and collaborate with Support Center leaders and the directors of human resources regarding recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and performance management of team members.
- Administer the onboarding of new hires for the Support Center.
- Administer human resource policies, procedures, and programs while ensuring compliance and confidentiality of information while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage, track, administer, and support protected leaves and workers compensation claims for all Support Center team members in accordance with the federal guidelines.
- Act as the main point of contact between Lifespace and the payroll provider.
- Oversee the accurate collection and maintenance of payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and other adjustments.
- Regularly audit payroll data to ensure consistency and accuracy before submission to the third-party provider.
- Ensure that payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations, wage laws, and labor standards.
- Manage the accurate filing of payroll taxes and compliance documentation, such as W-2s and 1099s.
- Review payroll reports from the third-party provider for accuracy and approve final payroll.
And here’s what you need to apply:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three or more years of human resources generalist experience
- Three to five years of payroll experience
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
