Job DescriptionAbout The RoleThe Linux Foundation is actively seeking a Sr Performance Marketing Manager with cross-channel paid marketing experience to join our growth marketing operations team and collaborate closely with our marketing, and technology teams in developing and executing a volume-based demand engine to drive sustainable, ROI driven approach. You will be working directly with Campaign managers to implement campaign strategy to maximize reach and scale with high conversion. This position will report directly to the VP of Growth Marketing.This role requires deep expertise in Paid marketing across various social and digital channels for B2B marketing. Leveraging data-driven insights, our objective is to construct automated, compelling, and performance-driven customer journeys, delivering timely and personalized marketing experiences that accelerates their buying journey. A key success factor is ability to run efficient media tracking end to end with clear attribution to business outcomes.We are looking for a seasoned marketing manager who is self-driven, data-led and goal-focused who understands paid media technology and marketing stack for integrated campaignsResponsibilities
- Develop the strategy and execute on our paid search campaigns to support brand awareness event tickets, Training & Certification sales and membership lead goals.
- Regularly analyze performance campaign results and make ongoing recommendations for decisions across spend, targeting, bidding, creative, and landing pages.
- Manage a media budget and deliver consistent end to end reporting covering budget pacing and campaign performance to internal stakeholders and contribute to budget recommendations in quarterly planning.
- Develop and document campaign experiments to help drive continuous improvement in paid campaigns.
- Regularly review and update our Persona targeting keyword lists. Provide recommendations on audience segmentations to partners across lifecycle marketing to help inform personalization strategies.
- Work with business leaders and campaign teams to ensure that we are consistently testing messaging and promoting up to date assets in paid campaigns.
- Provide general support to the integrated campaign planning process, acting as a subject matter expert for paid campaign performance and requirements.
QualificationsMust have
- Paid media marketing and technology experience leading global demand generation and growth marketing campaigns working in sales-led and/or product-led organizations previously.
- 8+ years of work experience in demand-based marketing (B2B or B2C)
- Experienced cross-channel performance marketer: You have experience working across multiple channels from SEM, Paid Social, Display, Review Sites and more.
- Analytical and data-driven: You are comfortable navigating across a swath of metrics and extracting the key insights while also understanding the nuances with marketing attribution.
- Customer-oriented: You have a knack for thoughtfully connecting digital marketing approaches to customer journeys
- Hypothesis-driven: Curious and driven to scientifically test and learn from new approaches
- One-team mindset: Communicates effectively and builds strong relationships with immediate team and cross-functional partners
