Position Title : Senior Storage Engineer – Cloud and On-Prem
Position Type : Full Time
Position Location : Washington, DC

Requirements:
- Provide daily management of production PURE, Commvault, Cisco, and cloud systems
- Provide daily support of customer requests for storage and data protection
- Evaluation, implementation, and management of production Commvault data protection software, as well as Commvault Hyperscale, AWS (storage and compute), PURE FlashBlade data protection targets, and Windows Media Agents.
- Evaluation, implementation, and management of PURE FlashBlade and FlashArray systems supporting block, file, and object-based storage
- Assist in planning, designing, and evaluating hardware and software recommendations to enhance and improve the Enterprise Storage and Data Protection systems as a whole
- Provide technical guidance in analyzing and evaluating storage and data protection policies, architecture, success rates, and future automation opportunities
- Create and update standard operating procedures and technical documentation
- Implementation and maintenance of enterprise level automation via process and/or scripting
Required: Years of Experience (min)
- 6 years with storage and data protection systems with a mixture of cloud and on-prem solutions
Required Degree
- A bachelor’s degree in the related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Experience with the following:
- A combination of PURE Snapshots, Commvault AuxCopies, Oracle Cloud, AWS S3 & EC2, GCP, Commvault Metallic, and/or Microsoft cloud (Azure, O365, Teams, SharePoint)
- Windows File server and share administration
- Operating systems security (Windows, ESX, Solaris, Linux, etc.) knowledge
- Ability to communicate technical topics to elected officials, senior executives, managers, and IT professionals in a manner appropriate to their knowledge level
- Ability to comprehend and integrate complex computer technology and software into an effective enterprise data protection and recovery strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues with network/operating systems.
- Flexible enough to work a diversified schedule at all House data center locations and participate in 24×7 on-call technical support
