Food lovers of Chicago, this job is for you! One of the best food retailers located in the heart of Chicago is ready to grow! You’ll be joining a team dedicated to amazing user centered shopping experiences, driving research from the search and browse experience all the way to cart and checkout.You’ll be a key member to a well structured team, leading user interviews and diary studies as you consistently define the journey map. The work will be primarily focused on leading qualitative research with an eCommerce heavy environment. This opportunity is for the passionate UX Researcher who wants the challenge to drive new innovations within an established industry. Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, or Sociology
- 4+ years of experience leading UX Research projects
- Experience in a heavy qualitative research environment
- Comfort leading one-on-one interviews and surveys
Desired Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a large Enterprise team
- Experience dealing directly with stakeholders on both the business and development side
- Proven track record of diary studies and user journeys
- Several research projects in the eCommerce side of a business
- Research for both mobile and web applications
What You Will Be Doing Design Breakdown
- 70% Qualitative Research
- 20% Communicating findings
- 10% Qualitative data research

The Offer
- Competitive Pay: Up to $75/hour, DOE
- Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months
