Job Description
Job Title: Staff Accountant (2 Years Experience)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with at least 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day accounting operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies. The ideal candidate must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment, have excellent communication skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
- Provide support during the annual audit process.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a staff accountant role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
