This public defender will work in a staff office with four other attorneys, two investigators, and a legal assistant. The legal practice is a mix of criminal and juvenile law, and the office serves both Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. This is an exempt, full-time position with State benefits.
The successful candidate is required to be a member in good standing of the Vermont bar or be eligible to obtain admission by waiver.
