Role OverviewAs a Structural Engineer at our firm, you will lead our structural engineering projects, offering expert mentorship to junior staff and ensuring the flawless execution of projects. This role is suited for professionals who are passionate about structural integrity and environmental sustainability.Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Analysis: Analyze and design complex building framing and foundation systems using structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry.
  • Documentation and Oversight: Produce and supervise the creation of construction documents, BIM models, drawings, and specifications, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborative Engineering: Work closely with other technical disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery and superior architectural solutions.
  • Construction Administration: Manage construction administration duties, including shop drawing reviews and contractor communications, to maintain project fidelity.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality assurance and control reviews, setting high standards for our project outputs.
  • Proposal Development: Play a crucial role in the development of proposals that highlight our firm’s capabilities and innovative vision.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering required; a Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, demonstrating a robust portfolio of successful projects.
  • Licensing: Must be a licensed Professional Engineer, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in using Revit, RISA-3D, and RISAFloor.
  • Leadership and Communication: Proven project management skills and excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to lead teams and interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ready to thrive in a dynamic team environment and flexible enough to meet the demands of complex projects, including occasional overtime.
