Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.Leidos has an opening for a Field Services Technician to be part of the End User Services Team supporting the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on the HUD End User Support Services (EUS) contract. In this role you will join a team of seasoned professionals focused on providing End User Support Service to our customer in the Philadelphia and surrounding area. You will be provided a tremendous opportunity for growth in a customer-facing, fast-paced, and challenging environment. This role is focused on day-to-day operations of the Customers Regional office and various satellite office.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be tasked with maintaining operating systems, application support, infrastructure support, and assist as needed with additional duties to support the team.Specifically, in this role you will be responsible for:
- Providing Tier 1 & 2 desktop user support, supporting the customers baseline desktop Windows 10 OS and MS Office Suite.
- Install software and hardware installations both locally and via remote access as well as supporting day to day onboarding/offboarding of users, locking and unlocking of accounts.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, and email support.
- Installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of systems, including associated hardware.
- Management of systems infrastructures, implementing best practices to identify and recommend system functional specifications, configuration of physical and virtual systems, backup and recovery of IT infrastructure.
- Support duties may include updating and supporting systems by fine tuning system and application configuration to improve operational efficiency or improve system integrity.
- Implementing critical patches, reviewing systems performance logs to identify anomalies and troubleshoot issues and allocating additional storage space.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Perform network printer/Multi-Function Device installs, upgrades & problem diagnosis.
- Evaluate and diagnose cabling, software, and hardware problems.
- Install and support of telecommunications hardware.
- Provide technical support for webcast/video teleconferences.
- Support technology upgrades – both hardware and software.
- Provide problem tracking support (CA ServiceDesk) – end-user desktop/server support.
- Perform field office visits.
- Perform root cause analysis.
- Perform desktop/server decommissioning.
- Documentation of standard IT processes and procedures.
- Implement and maintain compliance policy across the environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in the Information Technology field.
- This position requires a candidate with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Self-started that is able to work independently while possessing the communication skills to work effectively with other team members, organizations and customers.
- Professional. excellent interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a heavy customer focus position involving and technical knowledge of a companies’ products and services.
- Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
- Comfortable working in and assisting others through remote access desktop programs.
- Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS.
- Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+/ Network+
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory Domain Services
- Strong understanding of networking concepts
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
