Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Trim/Finish Carpenter to work with our clients in high-end residential new construction. Your job will entail working at several different jobsites with several different Project Managers. The ideal candidate must be able to follow direction and work with little supervision. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented and who cares about the project he is working on. He must finish his assignments in a timely manner while maintaining high quality of work.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
- Install cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated.
- Install base molding, door and window casing, as well as crown molding.
- Inspect work and conduct final punch as required.
- Jobsites throughout City of Austin and Travis County.
- Dependable transportation and tools.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Hands on experience in working with carpenter materials and tools.
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Good knowledge of English
- Good physical condition and endurance.
- Willingness to do whatever job is needed by our clients.
- Keep a clean work area and make sure when you leave the jobsite it is clean and organized.
Expected Salary
$35 per hour
