Join us today!JCI Industries is seeking a positive, reliable, self-motivated team player to assist our logistics team as a part-time Warehouse Generalist in Lee’s Summit, MO. As a Warehouse Generalist, you will be responsible for the picking and filling of equipment orders that will be shipped throughout the Midwest.What You’ll Do:
- Receive replenishment orders and stock the warehouse.
- Pick various orders as directed by the pick tickets.
- Load LTL and Truckload shipments.
- Coordinate with the production team to schedule daily deliveries and pick ups.
- Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Carry out pre-shift checks of equipment.
- Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets during random audits.
- Verify quantity of the products.
- Ensure items are picked accurately and safely to prevent injury or damage.
- Responsible for variation of all outgoing and incoming products for accuracy in terms of size, amount, and type.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- High school education or GED equivalent.
- 1+ year of warehouse and order selection experience a plus.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
- Must be hard working and self-motivated.
- Must have excellent verbal and communication skills, including good customer service abilities.
