JOB DESCRIPTION – Warehouse Picker and Packer (Full Time)
Job Title: Warehouse Picker and Packer
Position Type: Permanent Role
Start Date: March 1st 2024. Possibility to start sooner.
Hours: Full Time 40 Hours (Monday to Friday). 7.00 to 15.30 with half hour for lunch
Location: Our Warehouse in Louisville, KY 40211
Pay: Dependent on Age and Experience. Pay of $15-18 per hour, depending on experience.
Benefits: 10 Days PTO after 3 month probation period. Healthcare after 12 months. Staff Discount.
Overall Objective: To work as part of our small warehouse team to assist in the process of getting goods packed and dispatched to customers.
Role Overview
You will be an important part of a small successful team focusing on being the best BMX retailer.
This is a role that would suit someone who has a strong work ethic and enjoys working as part of a team; sometimes under pressure. This is a physical role so applicants must be confident in working an 8-hour day on their feet; though there is no heavy lifting (Though must be fit to lift 25lbs on occasion)
No specific product knowledge is required but an interest or knowledge is essential. Training will be provided.
Excellent attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and diligently to follow processes. Must have good communication skills to work with others in the warehouse and basic IT skills. Must play a part in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse and work as part of a small and dedicated team.
Expectations, Performance and Development
We will agree a set of performance indicators or objectives, which will form the basis of regular reviews. Success will be judged on the speed that you pick and pack orders as well as being able to work as a team and maintain a positive attitude.
We will have regular catch up sessions to review performance.
