Weapons Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Weapons System Engineer to join our team and work closely with both government and contractor personnel to develop candidate change packages for engineering advancements on the US Navy’s Tomahawk Weapons System.
Responsibilities:
- Provide RE support: draft white papers, develop requirements, schedule TEMs, draft and present briefs, develop team hours allocations
- Record changes to system architecture
- Conduct technical reviews of engineering artifacts
- Adhere to established work processes
Required Skills & Experience:
- Active DoD secret clearance (no exceptions)
- TTWCS experience
- Software and/or Agile experience
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Prior military service
- Familiarity with requirements tracking tools, MBSE tools, and establishing traceability
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $85,000 – $95,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
