We are looking for an experienced SAP developer who has a deep interest in SAP and business processes and strives to constantly develop and stay at the forefront of innovative integration technology.
This position will be located in El Cajon, CA or can be remote for the right candidate.
As a Centre of Excellence (CoE) Developer, you will act as a skilled and knowledgeable team member whose role is to provide the business global support and deliver best practices around the development and configuration of applications and solutions in line with the business requirements. The CoE forms part of the wider IT applications team, an integral part of the global IT organization. You will be a trusted partner to the business in providing applications and solutions in line with the IT operating model, working alongside the IT business partners, project management office, security and IT operations teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Works as part of a global team of subject matter experts to deliver support within agreed SLAs.
- Works alongside the other global IT functions (including IT operations, security, project management office and IT business partners) to support the delivery of the IT strategy in line with the IT operating model.
- Ensures the business/function are aware of the latest capabilities and drive standard application best practice.
- Acts as a skilled and knowledge team member, collaborate with subject matter experts, provides the business global SAP support and delivers best practices around the design and implementation of SAP applications and solutions in line with the business requirements.
- Supports acceptance testing for customizations and application releases.
- Supports users located at various sites across Europe, US and Asia.
- Coordinates the resolution of product issues with software vendors.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of SAP development experience required.
- 3+ years of SAP development experience required, including experience with ABAP, Adobe forms, CDS Views, Fiori and Analytics.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GKN experience
- Experience with BRF+ is preferred
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration skills and ability to manage priorities effectively
- Able to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using experience and judgment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
