We are seeking a Spanish speaking individual who is passionate, talented, and has at least 1 – 2 years of immigration law experience for our Los Angeles. This individual should have basic knowledge of case management and immigration laws. We seek someone who is personable, hungry to learn, and eager to work in a team environment where growth is dictated by the effort put in.

Job Qualifications and Competencies

– Must be able to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently is REQUIRED

– 1 year Immigration Experience Required – 2 years of Immigration experience is Preferred.

– Ability to take initiative and problem solve

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Excellent phone skills

– Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills

– Attention to detail

– Interpersonal skills and customer service skills required

– Ability to type at least 45 wpm

– Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook, internet proficient

– Ability to occasionally lift large case files of an excess weight of 25 Lbs.

– Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

Job Description

– Ability to screen, assist, and direct up to 50+ calls a day

– Work with supervisor and supervising attorneys to oversee case management

– Communicate with clients to explain immigration process and requirements

– Collect relevant information and documents in support of applications

– Fill out applications accurately and review for any errors

– Manage and meet client and task deadlines

– Process incoming and outgoing mail

– Provide detailed notes in office case management system

– Translate documents as needed

– Provide assistance to team as needed

– Contribute ideas to further grow and develop our firm

– Have reliable transportation to occasional travel to court or post office and important errands

Expected Salary

$18 – 25 per hour
